The Aged Ecuadorian Ligero Cigar Filler is grown from the same Habano 2000 seed our Ecuadorian Shade Wrappers are grown from, however this is the filler grade of this leaf.
Our Aged Ecuadorian Filler Leaves are large and easy to work with, and pair wonderfully with their wrapper quality counterpart.
Our Aged Ecuadorian Filler Leaves are known to be a thinner, milder leaf, and is revered as a flavorful filler in the cigar manufacturing industry.
These leaves are much larger than they look in the picture. This tobacco is grown from the Habano 2000 seed, much like it's wrapper quality counterpart. Just keep in mind that shade grown tobacco is usually much more fragile that sun grown wrappers (think Maduros and Oscuros) and requires a bit of finesse.
One of the most interesting tidbits about this leaf is that it is said to be "cloud grown". From what we understand, the region they are grown has almost constant cloud coverage (being in the mountainous foothills of Ecuador).
