Our Aged 1DW Maduro leaf has a full earthy aroma carrying hints of sweet moss, chocolate, and coffee. This leaf appears dark and chocolaty in color with a medium to heavy thickness.

Connecticut's 1DW Maduro broadleaf excels as a cigar wrap in taste, seals down smooth, cuts clean, and leaves the cigar with a mildly rustic texture. Velvet leaf moistens quickly and unfolds smoothly.

While it may look like a rugged fellow, it acts like a gentleman. Good, clean, white ash, and great in all circumstances!

Because this leaf is picked from the very top of the CT Broadleaf plant, the leaves tend to be smaller than average tobacco leaves, but what it lacks in size, it makes up in flavor!

The CT-1dw-maduro is a great leaf to have. Everything that is said on the description of this leaf is accurate. It has a great taste. Sometimes I even think it's like a very small zest of a tropical fruit like mango. It burned very slow and it deals great after rolling. I reccomend this leaf to everyone to try. Foodforthought: In my Dominican culture. When people here about "Maduro" it means someone cooked some delicious yellow-sweet Plantains.
