Our 14in Cameroon Wrapper tobacco leaves are mild, thin, and smooth. This variety is most similar to our Connecticut Shade in appearance and texture, but as with most leaves they have their own unique flavor.
The CT Fronto Leaf Wrapper is a wonder to behold! Although slightly more expensive than other fronto leaves, this leaf is usually MUCH more expensive as you can see with our other Connecticut Leaves (1DW, MED, etc.). CT Tobaco leaves are known for being a premium cigar wrapper, so finding CT broadleaves graded for fronto is unusual.
The Fronto / Dark Air Cured (W1) is a dark, thick, air cured tobacco leaf. The W1 Grade name signifies that it was grown in Tennessee, USA. This leaf is very large, and carries a chocolate brown color, that will only darken with age. This leaf is commonly larger in size, but it can vary in color more than other American grown Dark Air Cured. Although it does come tied in bundles, or 'Hands', due to its large size, it is to be expected that there will be slightly more damages than other bundled D.A.C. leaf.
The Fronto / Dark Air Cured (O) is a higher quality, sorted version of the Dark Air Cured (ALO). Grown in-between Tennessee and Kentucky, this dark, thick leaf is the (ALO), but this leaf comes tied in bundles called ‘Hands’, and is sorted to have a more consistent medium-dark chocolate brown color throughout. This leaf will only continue to darken with age.
The Fronto / Dark Air Cured (H) is a higher quality, sorted version of the Dark Air Cured (CLO). This leaf, also grown in Canada, this dark, thick leaf is the (CLO), but this leaf comes tied in bundles called ‘Hands’, and is sorted to have a more consistent milk chocolate brown color throughout. This color will only darken with age. Because it was grown father north, the color of this leaf will be lighter in color, and thinner in texture overall.
