This Organic American Virginia Flue Cured leaf has a darker, more reddish/orange color, and packs a bit more of a full flavor that most American tobacco blends are famous for. This leaf carries a more robust yet still unmistakably fresh smell.
USDA Certified Organic American Virginia Flue Cured Tobacco is now available at Leaf Only! After years of customer inquiries and searching, the time has finally come. This leaf is of American origin, and for those that are familiar with our conventionally grown American Virginia Flue Cured, you will know exactly what to expect with this leaf, except even better! We are also offering a lighter, Canadian Certified Organic leaf to blend if this tobacco by itself is a bit too strong, the "Organic Canadian Virginia Flue Cured Tobacco Leaf".
Take advantage of this limited offer. Once this year's supply is sold out, we might not be able to get any more until as late as late as October. Last year, we sold out of this leaf several months prior!
- Virginia Flue Cured Tobacco Leaf is commonly used in cigarette, pipe, and hookah tobacco blends.
- Minor spots or discolorations on Virginia Flue Cured leaves are normal and are no cause for concern.
- Flue cured tobacco is one of the most commonly used tobacco leaves in the industry, as it is a major component in cigarette blends for almost every type of cigarette, and is also used as hookah and pipe tobacco all over the world.
- Although this tobacco leaf is "uncut", we do not consider it a wrapper grade leaf because it is not handled in the same fashion as the whole cigar leaves. Organic tobaccos tend to lack the quality as other tobaccos, because they are less touched and handled.
- You can enjoy your smoke with peace of mind knowing that this leaf has never been handled by commercial processors, and was grown and handled totally ORGANICALLY!
What People Are Saying About Leaf Only
"Just wanted to leave some feedback on one of the cigars I recently ordered the torpedo. At first glance it's a nice looking cigar, with some oils on wrapper. It's a very smooth smoke, more mild than medium, at least to me. Flavor profile had some notes of earth, wood, mineral and a slight tart grassy note at times. The wood notes are more pronounced through the nose with a short finish. The draw was good, but what impressed me the most was the construction. Razor sharp burn and a nice solid ash. "

I had been smoking organic American spirit brand cigarette packs for a while, and last February switched to American Spirit Organic RYO tobacco. After some time, I could hardly smoke manufactured cigarettes because of the stale taste and poor flavor, compared to the RYO pouches. I thought I had found the best tobacco available-until I found this- Leafonly's organic American Virginia flue cured tobacco is in an other league altogether. If you're looking for the perfect RYO tobacco, you've found it. The smallest and most costly package is still around 1/8 of the cost of an equivalent weight of Organic American Spirit RYO and tastes and smokes far better. If you're still buying American Spirit Organic RYO tobacco, you might as well be shredding up dollar bills and smoking those.

Very deep, unspoiled tobacco taste. If you roll it into cigar, then press by hands for 5 minutes, then slice it into rings you will get oily, tarry, high quality pipe tobacco, smells better than FVF and no chemical tongue bites.

The smell of this tobacco is absolutely amazing in the package. It's got this nice warm vanilla aroma to it. I smoked some earlier, and I think it'd make for some great pipe tobacco. It's real tasty and extremely relaxing, almost to the point of sedation because of that high nicotine content. Would be premium tobacco for cigarette smokers. I can imagine people smoking this straight, but the smoke, along with the head rush is pretty heavy and intense if pulled into the lungs, so I'd imagine blending it with other tobaccos would make a more pleasant cigarette smoke. That's just me though, as I am not a heavy tobacco smoker.
I'm extremely impressed by this product, and how little impact it had on my wallet. Even just a 1/4 lb would last me for a year and then some, I'd imagine, but again, I'm not a heavy tobacco smoker, so your mileage may vary. I'm really happy about my purchase. It'll tide me over until summer, where I can grow my own again.

Thank you to the whole Leaf Only team. The website is easily navigated, and checkout is secure. Tobacco for me is for enjoyment and ceremonial. I like the fresh organics selection and there are several tobacco Leaf varieties to choose for blending and rolling. Many products at one location. Thanks again and keep up the great service.

I've smoked about everything on A SHELF... Trying to compare any of these products to whats in the market(consumer-trend) there is NOTHING like these plants. You may find a cigar shop with somthing as fresh.... But only cigar blends. Nothing like this FLUE cured American stogie blend.
This plant drys up quick... so maintain it right.
The leaf is very silk-like... delicate and very defined in its texture
I first set the tobacco out let it dry a little and stuffed a cigarette tube... Ive never had such a smooth cigarette... Very fresh even with it slight dried it kept burning out. The tar level very low-- almost no scuff on the filter. Made me wonder about all the impurities the tobacco companies add to your off the shelf cigarette.. An how clean this plant is.
The leaf has a very significant auburn smell.. Very robust, sweet, tangy, loud.
The taste is very spiritual, significant, everything as one in a vast field of a never ending prairie ~of life *Dances around a tribal camp fire* WAIT where am i....
The stems are worth keeping as well. You get a more stiff bite from the stem -- Its carries more of its robust bold auburn aroma and spite in this plants stem. Smoking without a filter you dontt get a scorch of the plant. Still a very mellow stem
This plant really makes me think back to how natives could create cure-alls and other medicines from these wild plants, I might see what sort of toner;s this substance can make for therapeutic/essential oil crafts.
An amazing product!
