This Nicaraguan Ligero Cigar Long Filler is aged to perfection.
Being the thicker and stronger of the long filler types, the Nicaraguan ligero is what provides the bold flavor and spice in premium cigars, even more so than other ligeros grown in other regions.
Being a leaf from the last priming, our Nicaraguan Ligero tobacco leaf is thicker and stronger than its counterpart, the Nicaraguan seco tobacco leaf. This leaf is grown from the Criollo 98 tobacco seed, and comes from the island of Ometepe. This 107sq.mi. island is located in within Lake Nicaragua and is known for its sweet, earthy and strong tobacco grown in rich soil from the island's two volcanos, Madera and Conception. This volcanic soil, mixed with the abundance of humidity and fresh water from being completely surrounded by the lake, leads to a uniquely sweet yet spicy tobacco.
