Our Cameroon Binder tobacco leaves are mild, thin, and smooth. This variety is most similar to our Connecticut Shade in appearance and texture, but as with most leaves they have their own unique flavor.
Our Cameroon Binder is known to be a thinner, milder leaf, and is a great component of any cigar line. Light and small, these tobacco leaves are very similar to the Cameroon wrappers but you may find slightly more damages then you would with the Wrapper quality.
Cameroon tobacco is expensive because of supply and demand, but it's exotic and unique flavor makes it worthwhile!
"I am really impressed with the quality, freshness, and varieties available to me through Leafonly.com. Not only am I smoking less daily as a result of a better choice for my habit. I am enjoying blending, processing, and smoking my final result. Like a fine wine, brandy, or cognac that is precisely how I would describe my tobacco. Canadian organic flue cured to The robust St James Perique. I Went from two packs a day American Spirits to ten of my "designer" cigs. I am using a recycled pasta cutter. The spaghetti cutter is working great to process the leaves, the moisture content of the leaves upon arrival was perfect, I guess around 18%. Cut, gentle toss and its perfect for smoke. I even rolled a few cigarillos with my blend using the St James Perique as a wrapper. Successfully! Thank you, I do look forward to trying more variety as time goes on.

Even though this is a binder grade leaf, most of the leaves can be used as wrapper. Also because it is so thin, there are about 3-4 hands in a pound. It has a mild woody, earthy and slightly nutty note. This is a great budget-friendly choice for less pricey wrapper. Very well fermented and appears to be at least 3-4 years old. Smooth and velvety.
