The Brazilian Arapiraca Filler leaf is darker in color than the Cubra Seco, yet carries a similar thickness. This leaf is grown in the Arapiraca region of Brazil and provides a distinct Brazilian flavor to accompany the wrappers from the same region.
We offer a wide variety of fillers, binders, and wrappers for making your own cigars - be sure to try them all to create some of the best personal cigars you've ever had! These leaves come in whole leaf bundled form.
The Brazilian Arapiraca Filler was first introduced at Leaf Only in December of 2017. It is the same shape and size as the Arapiraca Wrapper, but of a lower grade. This leaf is reminiscent of its other Brazilian cousins, but carries a slightly stronger scent, and a deeper brown in the leaf. Although it is grown in the same climate, this leaf, while similar, is still very unique from the other Brazilian tobacco leaves.
"Just wanted to leave some feedback on one of the cigars I recently ordered the torpedo. At first glance it's a nice looking cigar, with some oils on wrapper. It's a very smooth smoke, more mild than medium, at least to me. Flavor profile had some notes of earth, wood, mineral and a slight tart grassy note at times. The wood notes are more pronounced through the nose with a short finish. The draw was good, but what impressed me the most was the construction. Razor sharp burn and a nice solid ash. "
