NOTE: 120v Max, AC Only. 5-10m shredding intervals recommended. If machine jams, shut off immediately, clear the jam, and then proceed with use. Running motor while jammed can cause failure. This product has been tested (with paper) and is ready for use out of the box, however it is recommended to clean your shredder before initial use. To ensure longevity, run the machine for no more than 10 minutes at a time to prevent break down and overheating. Do not shred more than 1 LB per week. This unit does not come with a warranty.

This is an initial review since I've had this shredder only a week. In all respects, it is the best machine in my toolkit. It was a long trip to get to this point. A few years ago, when retail tobacco-counter prices made finding some alternative a budget issue, I went from packaged RYO from the local tobacco/head shop to buying Leaf Only whole leaf products. I started with scissors (really, really, tedious), moved on to a small, hand-cranked shredder (fairly tedious), to a larger hand-cranker that still took an hour to get a day's worth of smoking. This one does two, three, days worth in half that time, and gives an even, easily cut stuffer for packing tubes that are firm and uniform. I'm not an easy reviewer though and will wait a bit longer, with an eye on durability and ease of cleaning, before going hog-wild.

THIS ELECTRIC SHREDDER WORKS GREAT- A PERFECT SHRED FOR ROLLING MY OWN- TOBACCO DOES NOT FALL OUT OF TUBE ONCE LIT- AFTER DE-STEMMING 2 LBS OF LEAVES- SHREDDED THE WHOLE 2 LBS IN NO TIME- PRIOR TO START- LUBRICATED AS INSTRUCTED- IN NO TIME BIN WAS FULL- I EVEN USE IT IN MY PIPE- THANK YOU LEAF ONLY
