Fronto / Dark Air Cured Wrapper (H) for Fronto

$22.99 / lb

• OUT OF STOCK. Please try back soon.

The Fronto / Dark Air Cured (H) is a higher quality, sorted version of the Dark Air Cured (CLO). This leaf, also grown in Canada, this dark, thick leaf is the (CLO), but this leaf comes tied in bundles called ‘Hands’, and is sorted to have a more consistent milk chocolate brown color throughout. This color will only darken with age. Because it was grown father north, the color of this leaf will be lighter in color, and thinner in texture overall.

Leaf preference varies from location to location, so it is always recommended that you try a selection of a few different leaves, to see which you, or your customers, prefer most! Each type of leaf has 1/4lb sample sizes available.

Our Dark Air Cured Fronto Leaf (H) is one of many varieties of leaf called Grabba, Red Rose, Red Leaf, Fronto, Funta, and other similar terms that all mean the same thing - that it is a dark thick tobacco leaf, popular in the Caribbean, commonly used for crushing or blending. It provides a strong, bold smoke that is often referred to as ‘hot’, or with a strong ‘hit’.

This type of leaf is commonly sold either by the leaf, or by the pound in many stores. Although primarily used to mix with, it is also possible to roll with some of the thinner varieties of Dark Air Cured leaf.

What Customers Are Saying About Leaf Only

"I flashed up a cigar, hand made no less with Pennsylvanian filler, Aged Dominican Volado filler, Dominican binder and Ecuadorian Seco Shade wrapper! I rolled it a little loose so it is not the best draw, but, man what a flavourfull smoke. Once I get the rolling pressure down this will be my go to smoke. An absolute full to overflowing mouthfull of rich vanila-ish, bitter chocolate flavour. I am pleased beyond expectations. I will try another blend from my last order to tweak it some more, but, wow! what a pleasant surprise. Thank you again for being there with all your help ordering and supplying. I think the people at Leaf Only work very hard to please their customers. "
