Our Sweet Brightleaf Virginia Flue Cured Tobacco is a mild, slightly sweet tobacco leaf. The Brightleaf Flue Cured leaves are some of the best Virginia tobaccos we've tried and they come carrying a wonderful flue cured aroma.
This tobacco is packed pressed in bales, but still contains beautiful whole tobacco leaves, although sometimes a bit difficult to open. Of course, it is still primarily used for cigarette blends, so the leaves won't be wrapper quality, but as with most Virginia flue cured, you can expect a nice flavor! Be sure to take a look at this leaf's slightly smoother cousin, the "Smooth Brightleaf Virginia Flue Cured Tobacco Leaf".
Description
This variety of Virginia tobacco leaf is a very smooth smoke with a slightly sweet undertone. It is wonderful to smoke on its own, yet is also good to blend with other leaves as well - especially if it's too smooth for your personal taste.
Also known as Golden Leaf Tobacco, Virginia Flue Cured Tobacco is one of the most commonly used tobacco leaves in the tobacco industry, as it is a major component in cigarette blends for almost every type of cigarette, and is used as hookah and pipe tobacco all over the world. These leaves are tightly folded in on each other and are tightly stacked. They may also need to be rehydrated before use.

My favorite cigarette tobacco! I started my RYO adventure purchasing the 5 lb Leaf Only kits that supply multiple tobacco varieties and learned that I simply like the Brightleaf -Sweet leaf the best. I was a Marlboro Light purchaser before discovering Leaf Only and how easy it is to Roll Your Own. What could be better? Well, how about a 5 lb & 10 lb discount?? ( If you think about shipping charges you do get a discount every time you purchase "more"... )

Excellent. This is my second time, ordering from Leaf Only. I'm impressed, for a number of reasons. 1st is, Customer Service. I placed my order, over the phone. Jason (I think that's his name), was friendly, helpful, and efficient. 2nd is. Pricing. The prices at Leaf Only, are fantastic. And even better, when you order combo packs. 3rd is, Shipping. I couldn't wait for standard processing time, so I paid a bit extra, to get it shipped sooner. Using USPS Priority International, It got delivered in exactly 1 week. Paid Customs, Duty, and Taxes, brought it home, and opened the box. And finally, 4th is Product. I opened the bag of Brightleaf Sweet, and was greeted with, a nice fresh tobacco aroma. It shreds well, and makes very nice cigarette... on it's own, or with some Turkish, and Burley. Thank you!
