The Piloto Cubano Dominican Binder varies in color, but is generally a darker leaf with smooth to medium strength. This leaf is one of the most widely used cigar binders in the tobacco industry.
Being grown in the Dominican Republic, cigar manufacturers are always looking for an excuse to use this leaf, as it is good quality, affordable, and local (to most factories). As with all cigar binders, the leaf is not expected to be flawless, but decent enough to be considered binder.
Description
Looking, smelling, and burning like traditional Dominican tobacco, this binder makes a great addition to any lineup! Thinner and a bit more delicate than our CT Binder Leaves, the Dominican cigar Binders will be a smoother smoke with less vein obstruction for rolling. Smells and tastes like classic Dominican tobacco. If you are a fan of Dominican fillers, or have interest in rolling a 100% puro cigar, this leaf along with the fillers will help accomplish that task. All of our Dominican Leaves come from the PIloto Cubano seed. Although a binder grade, as usual, there are also wrapper leaves to be found mixed in.

This is THE binder! Arrived in excellent shape, and once rolled it looked as if no wrapper was necessary, they seriously came out that great with little effort.
